Origins

The Bothy is inspired by the mountain shelters that have provided a haven for people in remote areas of Scotland, Northern England, Ireland and Wales for centuries. 

We are a proud Cumbrian company, honed on the wild, beautiful landscapes of the Lake District, shaped by the harsh elements and keen to continue the tradition of providing a place of shelter, safety and comfort, but in a very modern way.
